WELCOME ALUMNI, ALUMNI-PARENTS,
CURRENT PARENTS AND FRIENDS
Nazareth Academy Grade School students receive an education that is rooted in tradition that spans over sixty-five years. With an emphasis on strong fundamental skills, paired with an expanded curriculum, students receive everything they need to make a difference in the lives of others as well as their own.
While the administration and faculty addresses the academic needs of each student, the Development Office was established to support our educational mission that the Sisters of the Holy Family of Nazareth began in 1941. We are pleased that an increasing number of NAGS alumni, parents and friends are actively involved in helping shape the face and future of the school.
EVENTS
Throughout the year, the Development Office sponsors events and programs to promote the school such as:
- GRANDPARENTS' AND OLDER FRIENDS' DAY! Thanks to the partiicipation over 260 Grandparents and Older Friends, our 8th Annual Event on September 28th was a great success. The faculty, students and administration enthusiastically welcomed our guests into the classrooms, acted as tour guides and savored each moment of the day. We hope that everyone will remember this event for years to come.
- Hard at work for CAREER DAY! The Fifth through Eighth grade students benefit from the practical advice and background information our alumni and parents' respective careers. The event, held on Monday, November 16 featured various professions, such as Law, Nursing, Banking, Marketing, Teaching and Medicine, just to name a few!.This year, we were proud to include the entire student body in a special presentation by Governor Edward G. Rendell ! We thank all of our participants and acknowledge the assistance of Dawn Dugan, mother of Molly Dugan, Grade 1. To sign up for future Career Day events, please email Pat McGarvey.
- ALUMNI SCHOLARSHIP LUNCHEON will be held on Sunday, April 25, 2010. All alumni are invited to attend a casual luncheon to honor the founding of the Joseph Brancato Memorial Alumni Scholarship in the form of tuition assistance for children attending Nazareth Academy Grade School.
